Biblical Resources Guide: Commentaries

Bible commentaries are the scholarly and theological interpretation of the Bible passages and scriptures by Biblical scholars. 

Multi-volume Commentaries are a set of volumes (books) that cover an individual book of the Bible or several books of the Bible. 

One Volume Commentaries cover the entire books of the Bible in one large, single book. 

Biblical Language Commentaries that use the Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, or Latin translations can be found using the "Hebrew/Aramaic" and Greek/Latin" tabs. 

Tip - Check your syllabus to see if your professor has assigned specific single or multi-volume commentaries that are preferred for the class.
