Evidence-Based Practice Research Paper
You will be assigned a case-study related to your anticipated work setting.
Your task will be to select an evidence-based approach that is appropriate to your assigned client and setting.
In order to do this, you will need to locate at least three current research articles (published within the last 5 years) related to your assigned case.
Your paper will include the following components:
(1) a description of the relevant aspects of your assigned case and setting;
(2) a summary of the findings of the articles;
(3) a description of how the information found in the research articles might be applied to this case; and
(4) any cautions that a counselor would need to consider in employing the approach recommended by the articles.
You will use APA manuscript style in formatting your paper. This includes using 12-point Times New Roman font and 1 inch margins. It is expected that the body of your paper (excluding title page and reference page) will be 3-5 pages long.
The final paper will be submitted to Turnitin through Blackboard.
Remember to review the grading rubric (Appendix 4) prior to submitting the assignment to be sure that you have included all of the expected elements.
