The John R. Dover Memorial Library is located on Gardner-Webb University’s main campus in Boiling Springs, NC.
The John R. Dover Memorial Library was built and dedicated in 1974 to meet the demands of an expanding student body. It provides Gardner-Webb University students with the educational resources they need to succeed at the university and beyond. The Library provides access to over 115 online databases that include resources on a variety of subjects including: literature, religion, music, psychology, nursing and allied health. Librarians offer individual and group library instruction through a 3-tiered Information Literacy Program. They also provide face-to-face, phone, and live chat reference assistance to help students with their research needs.

The mission of the Library is to provide Gardner-Webb University students, faculty, and staff with the resources, support services, and spaces needed to excel in their academic, creative, and civil pursuits in order to serve the community for God and humanity.
Dover Library is located on West Branch Avenue across from the Digital Learning Studio and adjacent to the Dover Campus Center. Visitor parking is available in the front and side lots by the library.
